Branding Can Backfire
If I was to say to you "Amazon.com" your first thought would be 'books online', right? If I was to say to you "Nike(c)" your first thought would be 'running shoes', right? If I was to say to you "eBay(c)" your first thought would be auctions, right? Buying, selling, watching, bidding. OK, that's what most people would say but, if I pushed you for further thoughts about eBay(c)what would they be? "Uh, uh, I sold something once"...."I bought something once"..."I buy and sell all the time" or perhaps something along those lines. Maybe, "too much hassle", "too many auctions", "what have I got to auction". You see eBay(c) has branded itself as an "auction site" where people "buy and sell" and try to make money in the process. Many people do very well by using wholesalers and then reselling through an "auction". Others make small additional incomes by "auctioning off" household goods or family heirlooms or collectibles. Now I'm sure everyone is aware of this and probably wondering how I consider it to be intel. And I'm just as sure that if I was to tell you that there is a new way to make money using eBay(c) you would probably assume that it is a new method of wording your listing, or highlighting your image or somehow outdoing any competition causing your "auction" to draw lots of attention and drive the price higher. But, here you would be wrong! What if I told you there is a way to profit from ebay(c): - without selling anything, - paying only minimal fees - with almost no competition... Would you be interested? Oh yeah, and it's a perfectly legal way to make an additional income, too. Now here's where "Branding Can Backfire" because you may just write this off or skip over it, thinking that "you've heard it all before" or "an auction is just an auction", or "an auction site is just an auction site". Beware the 'brand' implication; Don't let this message 'backfire' on you by doing nothing. I could be sharing THE step by step guide to making money online that you have been waiting for. Oh yeah and it could help you break your personal brand of "wannabe" ;-) A NOTE ABOUT ANOTHER BRAND: Many people take Aspirin(c) daily to keep their blood thin and free flowing. But doctors have found that only the original Aspirin(c) uncoated has any thinning effect at all. Pass this tip on to any elderly that you know (who MAY be mistakenly using baby aspirin), and help them be more effective for their health. |
